Handling concept drift via model reuse

WebSep 15, 2024 · This paper introduces FLORA family of algorithms to handle various aspects of concept drift, and FLORA3 deals with recurring concepts. It presents the method of storing old models in a repository for reuse in case of recurrence. After FLORA, we can see many algorithms which address the idea of concept recurrence. WebOct 14, 2024 · Model reuse has also been used to handle concept drift. The assumption that previous data contain some useful information, indicates that the models corresponding to the data can be leveraged. Condor was proposed [ 13] as an approach to handle concept drift through model reuse.
